Sitaram Badal is a researcher, archivist, and documentarian whose work has had a significant impact on preserving Nepal’s various histories. Over the past 13 years, he has researched, documented, and archived various fields such as music, film, art, culture, history, lifestyle, and more. His personal collection contains over 8 terabytes of valuable data, which includes over 300 musicians, historians, writers, poets, artists, actors, cultural experts, and more. In addition to his vast collection of personal interviews and recordings, Sitaram has also compiled a significant collection of various media publications. He is a postgraduate and has been passionately collecting and documenting various matters since school time. His extensive collection of rare visuals, documents, and texts offers an in-depth insight into Nepal’s history. Sitaram’s work has been recognized, and he has been honored with several awards and felicitations for his contribution to the field. His vast collection of personal interviews and recordings, along with his extensive collection of rare visuals, documents, and texts, make him a valuable resource for many researchers around the world.
